Mexico, 1868, Hidalgo (thick figures, imperf), 100c black on brown, Ures, in combination with 1868, 12c black on green + 25c blue on pink, Ures, all cons 31-69 (59+61), manuscript canceled on 1870 Alamos Certified front with six strikes of the scarce fancy Alamos handstamp (Schatzkes 1732 - 150 points), unrecorded Alamos Certification box date stamp, via Mazatlan to Guadalajara addressed to Ignacio Vallarta, a lawyer and political figure, for which the town of Puerto Vallarta was later named; file folds, otherwise Very Fine, an attractive and rare 3-color franking; with 2010 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.
