Massachusetts Cover Balance, 1840-1910's, of well over 340 covers and cards and several dozen ephemera items written-up on early pages in four binders; includes some stampless usages, various 1851-57 3¢ usages with townmarks including Bridgewater in red and blue, Cohassett, Taunton integral rate, Nantucket with integral Paid, etc., strong 1861-67 3¢ usages, Wareham with triangle cancel, Boston usage with illustrated steam engine cameo, South Middleborough with double perf variety (appears pink or rose pink), strong Banknote period cover including 1878 Monument Beach registered and later octagon date stamp usages, one with "U.S." cancel, foreign usages from Worcester to England, Northampton to Foochow, China and Lynn to France, some later including illustrated ads and some Brockton ephemera; condition varies with many nice items throughout.
