THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL EXAMPLE OF THIS RARE 1867 5¢ F. GRILL WITH FULL ORIGINAL GUM AND CERTAINLY RANKS AS ONE OF THE FINEST KNOWN.
The 1867 5¢ F. Grill is extremely difficult to find in sound, well centered, original gum condition. The narrow spacing between stamps on the plate resulted in stamps that are frequently off center.
