Norris, 111 Ohio Inf., cover with manuscript endorsements "Lt. O.P. Norris, Pris. of War, Columbia,S.C.", "Via Flag Truce" and "Exd. J.C. Martin" (CSA censor), franked with C.S.A. 10¢ blue (12) with manuscript cancel, postmarked "Old Point Comfort, Va. Dec. 18" (1864) double circle and "Due 6" in circle, letter "I am in good spirits and some here are in great hopes of an exchange, I have no hope…I am in great need of clothes", cover & letter with water staining, Fine and rare, great letter with much despair.
