Jul 18" (1864) double circle with matching "Due 6" in circle, manuscript censor's endorsement "Examined WKT" (W. Kemp Tabb), included is original enclosure datelined "Military Prison, Macon Ga. May 18th, 1864" (Camp Oglethorpe) from Capt. Henry Hescock, 1st Mo. Light Artillery stating "you can see by the above that I am in Macon, we started from Richmond on the 7th and arrived here yesterday after a very unpleasant trip, our situation here is much more pleasant than at the Libby", edge wrinkling, F.-V.F. and rare.Estimate $400 - 600.
