Ladies Aid Society, cover with Office of Hospital Chaplain U.S.A., Jeffersonville, Ind. corner card on cover addressed to "Mrs E.J. Baird, Pres. L.A. Soc., Green Bay, Wisconsin", franked with 1861, 3¢ rose tied by light grid handstamp, matching "Jeffersonville, Ind., Apr 27" cds, with straight line "Missent" handstamp additionally tying stamp and "Fon Du Lac, Wis., May 3" cds and target duplexes, Very Fine.
Estimate    $200 - 300.

A very scarce usage to Mrs. Baird, President of the Ladies Aid Society. The Wisconsin Ladies Aid Society worked closely with the Chicago, Ill. Sanitary Fair Association.
