Seychelles, 1885, 16¢ Chestnut (Mauritius), Horizontal Pair, canceled by barred "B64" oval handstamp (tied though perfs) on cover to Sir Henry Barkly (ex-Governor of Seychelles) in London, England, with "Seychelles, C, Sp 1, 87" cds with "C" code inverted, reverse with "London, Sp 19, 87" receiving cds and red "Government House, Seychelles" royal crest corner card on backflap; some wear and small sealed tear at upper left, Very Fine, a lovely example of a double rate forerunner usage from the Governor to his brother; with 2014 B.P.A. certificate.
