Straits Settlements, Collection, 1867-1900, mixed mint and used housed on Scott pages; with a strong completion issues for the period and some pleasant duplication, includes general issues with 1867 Crown overprints complete except rare manuscript re-surcharge, 1867-79 issues complete, good 1880 10¢ surcharges (lacking only the rare issues), and later missing only five issues, the Federated Malay States issues complete mostly mint with a couple revenue canceled and a $25 specimen, similar Johore lacking only six issues, Negri Sembilan lacking only the scarce 1899 black surcharge issue, Pahang including scarce to rare 1891 surcharges, 1898-99 issue mint tot he $1, the 1897 manuscript red surcharge bisect tied on piece, etc., strong Perak appears to be missing only six issues with some specimen and revenue canceled on 1895-96 high values, near complete officials, Selangor & Sungei Ujong with similar strength; condition is mixed, inspection highly recommended. Estimate $3,000 - 4,000.
