Mexico, Mulitas Issue Collection, 1895-1900, mounted on exhibit pages, formed from some of the best items of a gold medal grand winner exhibit; includes 182 stamps + 25 extraordinary covers/items, off-cover stamps are almost all unused and in choice condition comprising all the different watermarks and almost all of the basic stamps listed in Scott (Sc $16,274), there are three 5p (one is n.h.) and one 10p n.h., there are n.h. strips of 4 for all the values (except $1p-10p) as well as blocks of four of important stamps, among the rare stamps includes 243c (block of 4, cat. $360), 244d (block of 4 n.h., cat. $500), 248 (block of 4 with Plate #6), 253 (n.h. strip of 4, cat $280), 254a (used, cat. $900), 255 (two used and one unused, cat. $790), 256 (cat. $650), 262 (cat. $160) + n.h. block of 32 (cat. $5,120), 263 (cat. $200), 264 (cat. $750 MEPSI cert), 265 (block of 4, cat. $700), 266 (block of 4, cat. $1,200), 273 (cat. $200), 276 (cat. $175), 277 (cat. $375), 278 (pair, cat. $850), 284 (cat. $550, MEPSI cert), 285 (block of 4, cat. $360), 286 (block of 4, cat. $700), 288 ($150), 289 ($175), 25 covers/items with some highlights including 1c Mazatlan illustrated cover with strip of 5, 2c printed circular use to Barcelona, multicolored from Baja California, two genuine bisects, 3c unique multicolored mixed franking with Aguilitas + Billboard used postal card, solo use with government rate, pristine Express Hidalgo in certified cover to Switzerland, 5c postage due with double penalty + a magnificent landscape hand painted post card registered to Germany, 12c solo usage to Switzerland + very scarce registered AR to Germany, 10c two strips of four on amazing advertising registered cover, 15c fantastic registered from Tula to New York + Solo use from Baja California, 20c unique tag from a heavy parcel stating "Muestras sin Valor" one of a handful of examples of the rare 4th Class service (Samples), ending with three different watermarks of the 10p blue by Sperati.
