New York Foreign Mail Cover Balance, of 45 covers mostly from the Banknote issue period; includes a few 1869 Pictorial issues usages including two 10¢ usages to Germany and a 15¢ + 2¢ two singles on mourning cover to Italy with one 2¢ replaced, other mostly with the fancy geometric types with usages to Europe including Germany, France, Italy, Holland, England, usage to Belgium with star cancel (however 6¢ has been appropriately replaced) and Austria, couple allover ad design covers, nice range of frankings including an unusual 3¢ entire uprated with a cut-out 2¢ indicia, Supplementary Mail use but with stamp replaced, etc.; condition varies, worth review. Estimate $1,500 - 2,000.
