Oct 12, 1867" double-circle datestamp on small mourning cover to Adelaide, Australia, New York red "12" cents credit handstamp also ties 5¢ pair, Panama (10.30) transit; part of flap missing, some wear and edge faults, Fine use at the 22¢ rate for American packet to Panama and then New Zealand packet. Cover placed aboard the "Kaikoura" on Nov. 27th, arrived at Wellington N.Z. Dec. 26th and finally Sydney on Jan. 2nd 1868.
