"3.45" express fee ratings, reverse with "U.S. Ex. Co., Quincy, Ill. * Public" wax seals, opened on three-sides with letter on inside datelined "Baltimore June 27. 1864" responding to receipt of the money releases and deducting taxes and half the express fees on the released money, they advised at the waste of paying such high express charges as the releases were of no cash value, Very Fine.
