Denmark, Collection, 1851-1994, advanced very high quality collection of hundreds of mint singles, sets & booklets housed in two albums plus dealer and auction lot sheets with additional purchases, primarily mint o.g. with some n.h. and all carefully selected by a discerning collector who only purchase quality stamps, slew of items well into the many hundreds of dollars each, offered intact as received with all the goodies in place, nice selection of shade for the 1854-1862 issues, later issues also contain scarce shades as well as varieties and a number of complete booklets are present, virtually all key singles and sets are present including King Christian IX, King Frederick, General Post Office issue with both perforations, King Christian X to the 10K, 1918 surcharge, 300th Anniversary both mint & used blocks of four, plus a plethora of period tête-bêche pairs and more varieties, semi-postals, Air Post, Late Fee, Postage Dues, Military, Officials, Newspaper, Parcel Post, a nice section of local issues and more, unmounted Auction lots are spectacular with a number of early issues in excellent condition almost all with 4 margins and o.g. or n.h., collection should be viewed to fully appreciate its depth and scope, Fine to Very Fine or better is the rule with few faults, neatly mounted and well described, catalog is conservatively figured as o.g. but there will be n.h. found as all are in mounts, Scott and a few Facit listed items, shades are taken at the lowest Scott value, with a total of $26,700. ex-Windsor.Estimate $5,000 - 7,500.
