British Commonwealth, Collection, 1850-2010's, substantial collection in 20 mostly Scott specialty albums (17), primarily fresh clean mint, many in protective (Hawid or crystal) mounts with much n.h., occasional countries have used earlies or occasional high values used, overwhelming majority of the value here is in items over $100 up to 3000 with especially strong KEVII and KGV era, which is replete with high and top values, though all countries are not represented (GB and Canada for example) many of the most popular areas are very impressive including Falkland Islands virtually complete including Centenary issue and 2½d provisional with cert., Sarawak virtually complete *, much n.h., Brunei with canoes complete * including $25 top value, good Labuan including early, North Borneo; note * 167-94 and N1 N6, N8-11 (all but one n.h. and signed Bloch), Africa is very strong from Ascension (complete *) to Zanzibar and Zululand, Seychelles is complete *, S. Africa and SWA with good sets and pairs to 10sh + £1 values, and seldom offered areas are represented like New Republic, Uganda (note *55-9) and Griqualand West (mostly used but a few good * as well) plus Bechuanaland, BCA, BEA, Gambia, Morocco Agencies, Lagos and Nigerias, Nyasaland, Rhodesias, Mauritius, Natal, ORC, Togo, Sierra Leone, Somaliland, Sudan, Tanganyika, Tristan and more. Europe and Oceania include Cyprus, Ireland, Malta, strong NZ plus Australia and dependencies with Cooks, NWPI, PPNG, Nauru, New Hebrides, Fiji, Gilberts, Solomons, Tonga, and more, Asia also represented by Burma, Nepal, Hong Kong, and America with Barbados, Caymans, Montserrat, Leewards, St. Kitts, Trinidad and Tobago and Virgin Islands and more, highlights far too numerous to list but a careful perusal of the online photos is recommended and will be revelatory, many countries noted are complete or very nearly so while others may be sparse in early period, and many do not go into the 2000's (but Australia and NZ have complete runs * n.h. into the 2000's amounting to a prodigious face value), quality generally above the norm, fresh and F-VF throughout, with only occasional small faults to be found, with better items nearly all sound and attractive, there is a large amount of n.h. including pre-1938 period plus much GVI and nearly all QEII; A great opportunity to acquire a solid a solid holding of this ever popular area.
