Feb 3" cds on legal-size yellow cover to Luxembourg, pencil "Hamburg Mail" endorsement, red "New York, Paid All, Direct Feb 9" exchange cds, carried by HAPAG Line Cimbria from New York Feb. 9th to Hamburg arriving Feb. 21st, dark red "Hamburg, 22/2 69, Franco" framed transit (VDL 1678), reverse with Luxembourg (2.23) entry cds and Grevenmacher (2.24) arrival cds; repaired cover tears, couple small stamp flaws, F.-V.F. appearance, An exceptionally rare use prepaid at two-times the 10¢ NGU direct rate via Hamburg.Scott Nos. 68 Estimate $2,000 - 3,000.
