Newfoundland, 1920, 3¢ on 35¢ red, "The Missing Three" error, four stamps comprising used position 16 with partial top bar (121 var.); position 18 with bottom portion of "THREE" visible (121e); position 19 with top portion of "THREE" visible (121d); and position 20 with lower position of NTS of "CENTS" visible; positions 18-19 with o.g., 20 no gum, F.-V.F. and rare group. On a few blocks, an object came between the letterpress and stamps, resulting in varieties in the fourth row, positions 16, and 18-20 above. There are no copies of the THREE entirely missing - either the bottom is showing (18) or the top (19).
