A RARE EXAMPLE OF RITCHERDSON'S EXPRESS, WHICH SERVED THE KANSAS AND MISSOURI REGION.
Joseph Ritcherdson started this express in Missouri and the Kansas Territory in March 1853, carrying parcels and letters by steamboat and train.
