Eastern Express Co., two different gold on black glazed express labels, first "Eastern Express Co., 124 Washington St. Boston, Mass." on cover with Feb. 22, 1867 Portland Me. letter to New York City for order of hair; second with "Eastern Express Co., 35 Court Square, Boston." on cover with Sept. 26, 1863 St. Johns (New Brunswick or Newfoundland?) letter to Boston Mass., endorsed "Paid" and with instructions "To be left immediately after the arrival of the Boat at Boston." and "If Mr. Lawyer is not in Boston, please forward by Express, next train.", some edge wear, Very Fine pair.
