Walla Walla, W.T., Dec 1 (Walla Walla), sharp strike of two-line postmark on circa 1862 yellow cover bearing 10¢ green (68) s.e. and short corner perf, tied by matching diamond grid cancel to Middleboro Mass., Mass.; reduced slightly at right, Very Fine and scarce early Washington Territory use.
Estimate    $300 - 400.

This two-line Walla Walla, Washington Territory postmark was used only from Nov. 17th 1862 to February 1863.

Walla Walla, W.T., Dec 29 (Walla Walla), clear strike of two-line postmark ties 3¢ rose (65) on circa 1862 orange buff cover to Jacksonville, Oregon; reduced at right, F.-V.F. and scarce early Washington Territory use.

This two-line Walla Walla, Washington Territory postmark was used only from Nov. 17th 1862 to February 1863.
