Barbados, 1861, "Britannia" (1d) blue, rough perf 14 to 16, tied by "1" bootheel, matching "Barbados, JA 8, 67" backstamp on blue folded letter to Halifax, Nova Scotia, manuscript "4" pence debit, St. Thomas (1.13) transit backstamp, Halifax (1.23) arrival oval backstamp with matching "Cts/10" due handstamp; hint of perf toning, otherwise Very Fine. SG No. 23.

Barbados, 1868, "Britannia", 6d bright orange vermilion, rough perf 14 to 16, brilliant color and well centered, tied by "1" bootheel handstamp on cover to Kent, England from the Poole correspondence, with "Officers Letter, from Principle Medical Officer, Barbados" endorsement, reverse with "Barbados, De 2, 69" origin and transit cds's; cover with opening nick at top left and some sealed tears, otherwise Very Fine, ex-Blossom. Scott No. 20.

Scott No. 29.

'Camina', via New York" routing endorsement, reverse with "New York, F.D., Jul 16" transit cds and matching "T" in circle due handstamp with blue crayon "10" rating, rating obliterated by target with "3" rating applied and then crossed out with large crayon "7c" applied for final Canadian due rate, Extremely Fine, ex-Shenfield.
