Germany, Zeppelin, Sachsen Flight, 1913, official Gustav Eyb Airship card with with 5c Green Postal Card cancelled by "Luftpost/Zeppelin-Schiff/Sachsen/25. 5. 13" on-board cancel, card with light crease, Very Fine (Sieger #8X, LZ 17).Estimate $100 - 150.
The card was originally prepared to be carried on the Viktoria Luise, however as this was a special flight for the National Flight Fund, only official Flight Fund cards were used. Thus the card was not dispatched until the following May when the sender added the word "Sachsen" with the proper date.

X. 28" c.d.s., message expresses thanks to an official of the Zeppelin Factory at Friedrichshafen for courtesies extended to the writer, it is signed by Lt. Cmdr. C.E.
