Port Leon, Flo "Nov 3", type III cds with manuscript date and "25" rate on folded legal size wrapper to Tallahassee docketed Nov 10, 1844; lower right corner repair, otherwise Fine, ex-Light. Estimate $200 - 300.
The Port Leon post office name was changed to New Port on Jan 18, 1844. That, together with the fact that no type III Port Leon postmarks are recorded after Dec 12, 1842, indicate that the docketing may possibly be incorrect.
