Mexico, 1910 Centenary Mexico Issue without overprints, group of 115 covers, 2 fronts and 12 postcards, picture cards and postal cards; includes covers with 1c-20c values, this issue was issued the same year than the Mexican Revolution started and was extensively overprinted by the Revolutionary forces outside of non-occupied federal control, covers without overprints are very scarce thus, and it is the focus of this group assembled by a collector through many years, 32 items bear mixed frankings with local revolutionary stamps, this was sometimes done to complete the rate or to ensure safe passage through federal control territory, couple of mixed frankings have also US stamps, some foreign destinations include Surinam, France, Canada, US, Belgium, New Zealand, Germany, UK, Scotland, Australia, El Salvador, Brazil, Austria, Costa Rica and Switzerland, small town cancels include Zamora, Ensenada Baja California, Chietla, Ciudad Guerrero, Matias Romero, Tehuantepec, Nacozari, Acapulco, Comitan, Comalcalco, Mocorito, Las Penas, Naco, Tacubaya, Lagos de Moreno, La Cruz, Teocaltiche, Ebano, Atzcapotxalco, Cacaohatan, Cananea, Cutzamala de Pinzon and others, additionally the lot has 300+ mint stamps (1c-5p) including blocks of 4 of all values, F.-V.F. overall.Estimate $1,500 - 2,000.

Mexico, 1913-14 Sonora Issue Cover Collection, white issue and Green Seals; grand collection of 99 covers with a wide variety of frankings neatly displayed on pages in binder, included are some covers from the difficult white stamps, including combinations with green seals, colorless Roulettes and Black roulettes represented, collection includes several full unused sheets in mint condition, town cancels on covers include Alamos, Hermosillo, Agua Prieta, Cananea, Ures, Estacion Llano, Nogales, Magdalena, Railroad Cancels, Pesqueria and Guaymas, some rare cancels are represented like the Mexico straight line in blue, the deep magenta Agua Prieta cancel and the blue double-circle Nogales cancel (which was used for about a month during the split between elements of the rebel forces), some covers are addressed to the U.S. including mixed franking usage (Scott #'s 322-323, 328, 336-339, 341, 343-344, 346).Estimate $1,000 - 1,500.
