Mexico, 1872 Hidalgo Issue Collection, three volumes in good order and annotated, with over 1,470 stamps and 26 covers, Scott will exceed $11,000 but this of course ignores district overprints, all districts represented though some of the rarest only by mint examples, many nice sub-office cancels, there are 236 6c (11 perforated), 62 50c and 43 100c (11 unused); occasional flaws, a strong start on an interesting issue, generally F.-V.F. Mexico, 1872, "Anotado" Issue Balance, 25 including two rather doubtful 6c and a mint 50c where the basic stamp is a postal forgery - the weak Anotado might be good, others are 12c & 25c mostly mint and some where the basic stamp is a postal forgery - usually pretty safe, one 12c has a MEPSI cert.; please inspect, generally F.-V.F.Scott No. 71/78 Estimate $250 - 350.
