Mexico, 1872 Hidalgo Profile Issue Balance, approximately 85 stamps arranged on stockpages, with 28 districts represented; includes Acapulco 6c "2 72" Papel Sellado used & 50c "2 73" used, Guadalupe Hidalgo 6c Papel Sellado unused, Mexico three 50c, one Scott #102 with M.E.P.S.I. certificate, imperf, one pin perf & two 100c, one Scott #86 with M.E.P.S.I. certificate, both imperf, Pachuca 25c "33 72" Zacualtipan (Schatzkes 1141 - 50 rarity points) cancel, 50c used, 6c unused no overprint, Vera Cruz with three 6c used; six 12c blue used including 1 Papel Sellado; three 25c red used; three 50c yellow including 1 papel sellado, 1 unused, cancels include Cosamaloapan, San Andres Tuxtla, Otatitlan, Fresnillo (15 stamps, NF value $300), generally F.-V.F. or better.

Mexico, 1872 Hidalgo Issue Collection, three volumes in good order and annotated, with over 1,470 stamps and 26 covers, Scott will exceed $11,000 but this of course ignores district overprints, all districts represented though some of the rarest only by mint examples, many nice sub-office cancels, there are 236 6c (11 perforated), 62 50c and 43 100c (11 unused); occasional flaws, a strong start on an interesting issue, generally F.-V.F. Follansbee No. 87-96.

Mexico, 1872, "Anotado" Issue Balance, 25 including two rather doubtful 6c and a mint 50c where the basic stamp is a postal forgery - the weak Anotado might be good, others are 12c & 25c mostly mint and some where the basic stamp is a postal forgery - usually pretty safe, one 12c has a MEPSI cert.; please inspect, generally F.-V.F.
