Mexico, Picture Postcard Accumulation, 1900-50's, outstanding group of approximately 440 cards, earliest from 1901 with some from as late as the 1950's but most considerably earlier; among the many real-photo cards are 71 relating to the Mexican Revolution including photos of the major protagonists - Villa, Carranza, Obregon, Orozco, the federal General J.R. Velasco and so on, another 14 real-photos relating to Columbus N.M. and the Pershing Punitive Expedition, others of a more pacific nature depict life in Mexico, historical monuments, street scenes, town vistas and the like - a very different world than that of today; some are rare, no duplicates recognized, please inspect this intriguing group.Estimate $1,500 - 2,000.

Mexico, Revolutionary War Photographs, small photo album of 106 images from the Revolutionary era, some unpublished actual photos, some real-photo postcards (complete or sometimes cropped), many photos of rebel fighters, other troop photos, battlefield dead including burning of corpses, executions including hanging and decapitation, one real-photo postcard showing Obregon and Villa together along with Rodolfo Fierro (Villa's notorious "butcher") - a famous meeting; consignor paid $2,600 for this and it may well be worth that.Estimate $1,500 - 2,000.
