Dec 20" exchange cds and blue crayon "45" cent due rating, 1861 yellow cover with "Pigeon Cove Mass. Mar 15" cds and manuscript "60" due rating, black "Boston '6' Mar 16" debit exchange cds, carried by Allan Line North Briton, French transit, Alexandria (4.7) arrival backstamp with manuscript "32" decimes due rating (60¢), small edge flaws, F.-V.F., A scarce correspondence pair.

Packet, May 30" exchange backstamp and magenta "50" cent credit rating, carried by Collins Line Baltic from New York May 30th to Liverpool arriving Jun. 10th, red London Paid (6.11) and matching oval "PD" handstamp, Alexandria (6.28) transit backstamp; no flap, edgewear, F.-V.F.
