Beus Bridge, erected in 1851 by J.J. Beu, was a toll bridge on the road from Shasta City to Tehama Cal. Miners and stagecoach stop on the way to the gold fields of Shasta, Trinity and Siskiyou.

Dec 15" and "Dec 16" cds plus two small "Paid" handstamps, red crayon "8", if over ½ oz. then rest of franking was on the front; 3¢ small piece out, Fine and very unusual, ex-Metzger.
