Shield, two bold strikes, one ties 10¢ brown (150), exceedingly well centered within wide margins, on 1871 cover to Paris, France, two strikes of shield used to obliterate incorrectly applied "New York 'Paid 6' Jun 3" exchange cds, proper "New-York Jun 3" exchange applied, red "Etats-Unis, Paq. Fr. H. No. 2, 3 Juin 71" applied by French postal clerk on French Line "St. Laurent" in New York harbor, "8" decimes inland due rating handstamp; some light toning and spindle hole, still a Very Fine and striking use.
