Treaty, better exhibit balance of 37 covers on pages with many interesting markings with some that are noted as early strikes, includes 1849 letter from Southampton Mar. 26th to New York on first Ocean Line return voyage, 1849 (Mar. 6) Philadelphia with an early strike of large crude "24" rating handstamp to London used on the first New York sailing departing Mar. 7th, 1849 (Mar. 10) Liverpool to Wiscassett on first sailing into New York with "24" debit handstamp, 1849 (Jul. 10) Philadelphia to Ireland with large blue crude "Paid / 24" handstamp (faulty), 1849 London to Bradford Pa. with "Paid/Ship" two-line handstamp, 1849 (Oct. 13) Liverpool to Philadelphia with "38/Cents" rocking debit handstamp and Boston "48" cent due rating, 1849 (Jul. 14) Liverpool with GB 1s embossed cut-to-shape with New York small red "24" cent handstamp, 1850 San Francisco to England at 59¢ rate, 1850 San Francisco to London at four-times rate of $2.36, 1849 (Nov. 10) Liverpool to Boston on final Caledonia voyage, 1859 (Oct. 24) Ireland to Washington D.C. on maiden Africa voyage, etc.; some faults but overall a wonderful basis for further study, F.-V.F., Part of the award winning "Seafarer" exhibit collection.

Pkt. '48' Apr 16" integral debit cds, 1864 Frederick Md. to England with blue framed "Paid" and circled "24" rating handstamps, 1850 New York to England with ocean mail cds, 1849 Spain to Boston via London, 1855 England to Pittston Me. by Collins Line Pacific on last successful voyage before loss at sea, etc., F.-V.F., From the Seafarer collection.

"40" cent due rating, 1851 San Francisco red "Paid" and "29" ratings handstamps to London, 1853 San Francisco with crude "Pd. 29" rating handstamp to Manchester (large cover tear), four incoming 1853-61 covers at the "1/2½" (29¢ rate) from Great Britain, 1854 use with two #78 singles to London, and 1860s wrapper to San Francisco with two 1d red singles paying circular rate, etc.; some faults, F.-V.F.

Feb. 7th, and two 1849 (Jan. 12) letters from England to N.Y. and New Orleans on Canada from Liverpool Jan. 13th, later faulty quadruple rate, F.-V.F., a scarce group.
