Mexico, 1895, 20c brown rose, watermark sideways, horizontal pair, town cancels, strong color, Fine and rare, the Largest Multiple of This Rare Stamp.
Scott No. 252c    $1,500 for singles.

The sideways watermark stamps were a separate issue in 1897 from the Correoseum issue in 1895. The grain is horizontal rather than vertical and the size of the design is different.

Mexico, 1895, 50c purple, in combination with 1895, 15¢ bright blue + 20c brown rose on registered cover to Buenos Aires, Argentina, all tied by 1895 Guanajuanto cds's, Mexico registry etiquette and "A.R." return receipt handstamp; 20c with small scuff and cover with partial backflap, less than 15 covers are known with the 50c issue.
