Bishop at the Lahainaluna Seminary, bearing misperfed 3¢ rose (65) tied by target cancel on cover with matching "Lynn Ms. Aug 16" cds, red crayon "7c" due rating for 5¢ inland postage plus 2¢ ship fee, pencil 1867 arrival docketing at left, F.-V.F.

Rev. S.E. Bishop and William Howland were classmates at Amherst College.
