1851-52, 3¢ brownish carmine, type II, margins large to shaving frameline at top, bright color, tied by neat full blue "Paid" in grid cancel on cover to Smithfield, R.I., matching "Jewett City, Conn., July 2, 1852" cds with day and year in manuscript, Very Fine and attractive, an nice strike of this unusual "Paid" in grid handstamp; with 2013 P.F. certificate.

Graham, Phoentic Depot, New York" imprint at bottom, manuscript "No. Raymond, Me., Feb 8" postmark at top, with original 1860 enclosure in written in phonography, Very Fine, a very rare phonography advertising design.
