Nebraska/Kansas Map - Hawke & Nuckolls, Nebraska City, N.T., illustrated map advertising cover addressed to Boston, Mass., most likely sent under another cover, map showing Cherry Creek at left with "Gold Region" heading (Pre-Territorial Colorado), with original enclosure from C. Nuckolls datelined "Pacific City, Iowa, Oct 3/59" regarding the land warrants & sales in Nebraska, Very Fine, one of the earliest Colorado mines map.

New York Circulars printed by Nesbitt Co., group of six circa 1848-1849, each with red "New York/Paid 3 cts." cds for circular rate and "Circular/Paid" handstamp, couple with illustrated letterhead, each printed by George F. Nesbitt, manufacturer of the first U.S. postal stationery, some mixed condition, Fine group.

(North West Territory) Marietta, 29 May, manuscript postmark on 1800 folded letter to Norwich, Conn., matching manuscript "25" rate for over 450 miles, with letter regarding the water height in the river preventing shipments from arriving, Very Fine, a choice example of this scarce Northwest Territory postmark. ASCC $3,500.
