1918, 1¢ gray green, Offset, "Flat Nose", block of four, top right stamp with this distinctive variety showing line of engraving shortening nose and cutting thru oval at bottom, fresh color, natural s.e. at top and right showing full guide lines, o.g., hinge remnant, bottom right stamp small thin spots, top right stamp (the variety) with light corner crease, Fine and interesting variety, listed but unpriced in Scott; with 1998 A.P.S. certificate.

Jun 18 1919" machine cancel to Pratteville, Mich.; light vertical fold between stamps and minor soiling to card, Fine, ex-Alpha; with 1994 A.P.S. certificate.
