Serbia, Collection, 1866-80, well formed collection on quadrille pages on album, with many issues in modest to moderate duplication; 1866 Prince Michel III issues (Vienna Print) with complete mint (Mi. 1-3, cat €3,500) and complete used with some duplication and a #2 cover, Belgrade Print issue with the various paper types and a nice range of cancellation, multiple and mixed franking on piece, mint newspaper issues starting with the 1866 Coat of Arms issues including a rare 1pa first printing (flaws with cert., Mi 7xb, cat €2,500) and 2pa first printing (Mi 8xa, cat €2,200), range of 2nd printing singles including a complete sheet of 12 of the 1pa (Mi 7xb, cat €1,920), with additional multiple examples of the 3rd and 4th printings, also a scarce proof of the 3rd printing, Prince Michel III issues with perf 1pa-2pa issue including 1pa block of 20 and 2ps block of 6, shades and a 2pa "PARF" error (position 10), selection of imperf issues including two examples of the 2pa 3rd printing (Mi 10Bc, cat €350 each), nice section of Prince Milan issues with an array of perf varieties, multiples on piece, 1874 20pa used imperf pair, 1872 1pa pair imperf vertically, selection of covers, etc., 1872 issues including a rare 2pa usage tied to newspaper (with cert.), 1880 issues including shade varieties; a wonderful assembly of material and a must see to fully appreciate.
