Confederacy, (Various) Tuskaloosa Insurance Company, Tuscaloosa Ala., printed boxed corner card on yellow cover bearing 1861, 5¢ green, Stone 1, large short transfers at bottom, faulty, cancelled by Star fancy cancel with matching "Tuscaloosa Al. Nov 22" cds and addressed to Wetumka Ala., F.-V.F.
Scott No. 1    Estimate $300 - 400.

Conrad Bush in his 1997 book on CSA Fancy Cancels estimates no more than about 20 covers showing the Tuscaloosa "Star". He illustrates another cover from this same correspondence on page 32.
