Wells Fargo & Co. Selection, 1857-1874, 54 western express covers, mostly WF & Co., various oval dated handstamp's, including 1864 Walla Walla, W.T., another Walla Walla on cover without company frank (addressed to SF office and thus without postage); nice Elko; Stockton, Marysville, San Francisco. etc; also some uncancelled WF entires; note front with faults of Virginia City, N.T., with 25¢ Pony Express adhesive nicely tied; Adams & Co. California Express embossed backflap franked with imperf 10¢ tied by San Francisco cds, interesting contents datelined Port Ludlow, W.T. 1854, talks extensively about Indian Wars, etc; several unused express co. entires including couple Tinnin & Owens Weaverville and Shasta Express; note 2¢ brown entire with Martin's Spokane Falls and Wardner Stage and Express Line; "Paid over all stage and express lines from Ruby City, W.T."; nice used Pacific Express Nevada oval handstamp on 3¢ Nesbitt entire; several legal size WF 4¢ & one 6¢ entires, se.
