1859-S $1 Gold Indian. PCGS graded AU-50. The relatively small 15,000-piece mintage of 1859-S gold dollars was quickly circulated, with few survivors. (PCGS Pop. 17 in AU-50, only 32 graded higher, the highest grade being two MS-64 examples. Total of 90 in all grades, 9/27/11).Estimate $400 - 600.
