In combination with 1861, 3¢ rose, two singles on cover to Aylmer, Canada, all tied by cog wheel handstamps with" San Francisco, Cal., Nov 24, 62" cds, light blue "Post Office, Victoria V.I." Coat of Arms frank handstamp and red arched "U. States" exchange handstamp; cover reduced at right, otherwise Very Fine.

Tied by light strike of Illinois circular datestamp on buff 1865 cover to Livorno, Italy, magenta manuscript "18" credit, transit and receiving backstamps, red boxed "PD" handstamp, right stamp light corner crease at top right, some slight wear, otherwise Very Fine, a scarce usage overpaying the 21¢ French Mail rate.

In combination with 1861, 10¢ yellow green on cover to Frankfurt, Germany, canceled by fancy circular geometric cancels with matching "Stillwater, Min., Jan 14, 1864" cds, red "New York, Hamb Pkt., Paid 12, Jan 23" cds, Hamburg transit date stamp on reverse, Very Fine, a 7¢ overpayment of the 15¢ Hamburg treaty mail rate which was reduced from 22¢ in 1859; with 1991 P.F. certificate.
