Slogan flag cancel "Pure Food Exposition" on cover tying 1¢ Pan-Pacific, Very Fine, The A.P.M.C. apparently had a booth at this local Boston exhibition and used this flag die to create 'souvenir' hand back covers, which did not actually pass through the mail.Estimate $200 - 300.

American Postal Machine Company, Boston, Mass., Mar 21, 1915. Type B-38 street car flag cancel "Boston Circuit R.P.O." on 'Tuttle cover' franked with Canadian 2¢ Map, Very Fine, the addressee, C. W. Tuttle, was a conductor on the Boston Street Railway and apparently created numerous 'fantasy' covers with illegal frankings and which never passed through the mail, an interesting novelty.Estimate $100 - 150.

Stars in Field flag cancel tying 1¢ Wash-Frank on picture post card to Washington D.C., Very Fine, Listed in the first edition of the Flag Cancel Encyclopedia, noted in the second edition as a collector made fantasy, then disappeared from the record. This is likely the only example. Unusual since other fantasy flags have been continually listed. There may be more to the story as this was kept with other prized rare flags.Estimate $300 - 400.
