Gregory's Atlantic and Pacific Express, Forwarded By Thompson & Hitchcock, 149 Pearl St., N.Y. virtually complete strike of 4-line handstamp on reverse of folded letter datelined "New York Oct 21, 1851", to San Francisco with "pr steamer Daniel Webster" and "via Gregory's Express" endorsements, matching "Paid" in oval handstamp, letter regarding the receiving a package of gold, Very Fine, ex-Vogel.Estimate $750 - 1,000.
