Jul 23 1901" cds and addressed to England, British post office seals applied in an RPO (South Wales Night Down); one 8¢ faulty, Fine, a rare two country post office seal use, this being the only recorded R.P.O. use of the Victorian seals. These seals should be considered essays. The post office was apparently experimenting with printing seals directly onto the custom seals. Seals were often used to reclose mail opened for customs inspection.
