Lot 1750

Mexico, General Emiliano Zapata. Signature on 1917 type written letter of military recommendation to Señor General Don Genovevo de la O, on personal letterhead, Very Fine, a wonderful document between two great Mexican leaders.
Estimate    $1,500 - 2,000.

Emiliano Zapata's life was very similar to that of Genovevo, as the harsh circumstances in which their people were under the dictatorship of Porfirio Diaz, were similar. Both became members of the opposition against the nomination of Paul Escandon.
