Clear to large margins, pencil canceled on 1850 folded letter sheet to Baltimore, Md., in combination with 1847, 5¢ red brown tied by neat red grid handstamp, matching "New - York, Mar 2" cds alongside; carrier with light corner crease and some glaze oxidation, otherwise Very Fine; with 2005 P.F. certificate.

Clear to ample margins, tied by red star handstamp on 1852 folded letter sheet to New York City, in combination with 1852, 3¢ dull red, type II tied by blue "Philadelphia, Pa., May 15" cds, Very Fine, a very rare tied example of the Philadelphia 1¢ "U.S.P.O." Black Carrier on cover, only thee examples are known in combination with the 1851 issue, ex Piller; with 1984 P.F. certificate.
