Palmer, Jr., Bureau of Foreign Correspondence for the Daily Evening Transcript (Boston); couple insect holes affecting card, F.-V.F., a very rare commercial card usage franked with Hawaiian postage.

Tied by "Honolulu, H.I., Dec. 9, 1897" duplex postmark on Hawaiian "Aloha Nui" picture post card showing "Wharfs Honolulu" scene, to New Hampshire with partial San Francisco transit postmark on reverse, Very Fine, an early usage of a Hawaiian post card with a rarely seen use of the 1893 Provisional overprint issue.
