Tied by segmented target cancel on 1872 cover with John Neill, Machinist, Lock and Gun Smith corner card, reverse with allover six panel merchant advertisement - one with illustrated Pocket Watch, to San Francisco with red "G.P.O. Honolulu, Paid All, Nov 22" and "San Francisco, Paid All" cds's, Very Fine, a lovely Honolulu advertising cover.

Tied by target handstamp on 1887 cover to San Francisco, Cal., in combination with cork canceled U.S. 1885, 10¢ Special Delivery, clear "Honolulu, H.I., Aug 26, 1887" origin and red San Francisco entry cds's, reverse with partial purple "Special Delivery Post Office, San Francisco, Sep 8, 1887" clock dial postmark and red "H.J. Nolte, Honolulu, H.I." oval sender handstamp; light cover toning, otherwise Very Fine, a very scarce combination usage and a rare usage of the San Francisco special delivery clock dial postmark.

Hawaii, 1883, $1 rose red. Purple "Late Letter Mail" circular handstamp (MH 759, 1RRR) on well centered 1883, $1 rose red, well centered, rich color, Extremely Fine, an extremely rare strike on a high value stamp and most likely unique on this issue; with 2009 P.S.E. Graded certificate (VF-XF 85).
