Euchee Valley/May 16th 1834. Manuscript postmark (type I) with "18¾" rate doubling as the year date, on folded letter sheet to Tallahassee with "Election returns, Walton County" endorsement, Very Fine, this being the only known postmark from Uchee Valley in private hands, ex Ferrell.

Vallambrosa, Fla/Aug. 23d. Manuscript postmark (type I) and 18¾ rate on 1837 folded letter to the Governor of Florida in Tallahassee, letter from Col. Leavin Brown regarding fugtive Indians and halting operatations until a trial is held…on the morning of the 22nd one of the Indians returned with a Hostile one (Indian) stating that they were all willing to come in…I hope in a few days to be able to inform you that the war in this section of the country is at an end., Very Fine and rare, the latest of three known postmarks in private hands, ex Ferrell.

Wantons' Flo/Febry 20. Clear strike of red two-line date stamp with matching "FREE" handstamp (type Va) on 1828 folded letter to Adjutant General Col. R. Jones in Washington D.C., "On Service" endorsement at top, letter datelined from Fort King, Very Fine, one of two known examples of this postmark and the only known in combination with the "Free" handstamp.
