Mexico 1954-67, 1p olive brown. Gutter block of 20, Mexico wavy line machine cancels, some perf separations in lower portion of block, otherwise Very Fine, a scarce gutter block in used condition, this reported to be the largest known.

Mexico 1954-67, 5p ultramarine & blue green, type II. Top margin block of 11, without gum, slight mescal staining mostly visible from reverse and some perf separations, F.-V.F. appearance, reported to be the largest multiple known.
Scott No. 883a    $5,500 for o.g. singles.

This variety was discovered some years after it was issued, by then practically all the stamp had been sold by the Post Office. A philatelic traveling salesman found two sheets in Acapulco. Also a mescal lover, he placed in his suitcase the two sheets and a bottle of mescal. When arriving in Mexico City he found half the stamps were damaged when the mescal bottle broke during his travels.

Mexico 1985, 26p Cucurbita Pepo, unissued. Corner margin single, o.g., never hinged, with "Muestra" perfin, Very Fine, this stamp was later issued in 1986 with a 40p face value, approximately 20 specimens of the original run exist.
