Mexico 1868, 12c Hidalgo Thick Figure Plate Study of Types and Retouches. Imperf and perf issues mounted in a stock book with detailed diagrams and notations describing varieties that exist and how to identify them, over 700 stamps, mostly used with dozens of mint issues, many pairs and a strip of three, an array of postmarks, this research study was sold in a mid '80's Shelton auction, again in a 1991 La Filatelia Mexicana sale and has remained intact since put together by a fastidious unknown '68 specialist many years ago; condition a little varied, F.-V.F. overall, a piece of Mexico philatelic history that should remain intact.Scott No. 59, 66 Estimate $1,000 - 1,500.
