Large even margins, tied by blue "Christianburgh, Va./Dec. 9" (1862) cds on buff cover to Richmond with earliest known usage of fancy "Advertised 2" handstamp (Powell type 4a), endorsed on reverse with Richmond cds, "If this letter is not called for in a day or two, please for'd it to Lexington, Va.", additionally franked with second 10¢ blue tied by "Richmond, Va. "cds & then forwarded to Lexington, Va., cert. mentions cover reduced at right & stamp at left trimmed at bottom & surface abrasions along left edge, Very Fine, a wonderful & rare usage; with 2004 C.S.A. certificate.
